If you weren’t excited about the Joe Dirt sequel, David Spade has something that may change your mind.
With the first day of shooting underway, Spade set out to prove that Joe Dirt hasn’t changed, and basically hints that we can expect the same Joe Dirt film as the first. Everything that people loved will be captured again… likely because it’s trapped in the mullet.
The first film was technically not as successful as the sequel would lead you to believe, but since the release and the years in-between, it has developed a cult following. It’s popularity grew thanks to sales and cable airings.
Though the film was released in 2001 and the sequel comes over a decade later, fans are still eagerly awaiting Joe Dirt’s second big screen appearance.
